Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using CricFight. By accessing or using our website cricfight.in or the CricFight app (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. About CricFight

CricFight is a free, ad-free cricket scoring and team management platform designed for gully cricket players, local clubs, and tournament organisers across India. The Services are operated by the CricFight team (“CricFight”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Eligibility

To use the Services, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law.
  • Not be prohibited from using the Services under any applicable law or regulation.

If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your password with anyone.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@cricfight.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • You may register only one personal account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or gain unfair advantage is prohibited.

4. The Services

4.1 What We Offer

CricFight provides, free of charge, features including but not limited to: ball-by-ball match scoring, professional scorecards, player statistics tracking, team management, tournament management, a challenge system, city and national leaderboards, team chat, live score sharing, XP and ranking systems, and match highlight summaries.

4.2 Free Service

The core Services are provided free of charge with no advertisements. We reserve the right to introduce optional premium features in the future. Any changes to pricing will be communicated in advance.

4.3 Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, upgrades, or suspend access to the Services at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

4.4 Changes to Services

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features of the Services at any time. We will endeavour to notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notice.

5. User Conduct and Acceptable Use

By using the Services, you agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate match data, player statistics, or other information.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Manipulate leaderboards, XP, or challenge outcomes through fraudulent means.
  • Use the team chat or any communication feature to send spam, harass, threaten, or abuse other users, or to distribute illegal, obscene, defamatory, or hateful content.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the technical infrastructure of the Services.
  • Use automated bots, scripts, or other means to interact with the Services in an unauthorised manner.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the Services or other users’ data.
  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Indian law or regulation.
  • Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Services without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

6. User-Generated Content

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create on CricFight — including match data, player profiles, scorecard notes, and team chat messages (“User Content”).

6.2 Licence to CricFight

By submitting User Content, you grant CricFight a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services, including generating aggregated statistics and leaderboards.

6.3 Public Scorecards and Profiles

Scorecards and player profiles are visible to other users and may be shared via public links. By creating publicly visible content, you acknowledge and accept this visibility. Do not include sensitive personal information in publicly visible fields.

6.4 Content Standards

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You must not post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, or infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.

6.5 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Services — including our software, design, graphics, logos, the “CricFight” name and branding — is owned by or licensed to CricFight. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You must not use our name, logo, or branding without our prior written consent.

8. Third-Party Services

The Services integrate with or link to third-party services, including Google Sign-In, push notification services, and analytics tools. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
  • Match data, statistics, or scores will be 100% accurate.
  • Any errors or defects in the Services will be corrected within any specific timeframe.

You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of match data you enter into the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CricFight and its team members, employees, and associates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, or reputational harm.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you have paid us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Since the Services are currently free, this amount is ₹0.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CricFight and its team members, officers, and associates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the Services.
  • Your User Content.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

12. Termination

By you: You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@cricfight.in. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

By us: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or the platform.

Upon termination, your right to access the Services ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14 survive termination.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable statutes.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through good-faith negotiations. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days of written notice, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

14. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and CricFight regarding the Services.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
  • No waiver: Failure by CricFight to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms. We may assign our rights without restriction.
  • Force majeure: We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, governmental actions, or internet outages.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by sending an email or displaying an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
